I had a really clear idea of how I wanted to organize the Spice Alley website content for user experience and for SEO purposes. After drafting a content outline and basic sitemap, I started to put together wireframes.

The Reverb mobile dev team came to me with a project. Our app had nearly 60 empty state screens that could use a little love. I got together with our head graphic designer who also happened to be a phenomenal illustrator.

In January of 2014, I was working as the Director of Marketing and eCommerce for Chicago Music Exchange. We knew that in order to continue growing in 2014, we would have to re-platform the website and Shopify was the answer.
